People Matter More Tote TAG GIVEAWAY
People matter more than the things that we buy is a belief hold close to our hearts, as do our friends over at Made. Owner Holly and her team work hard to ensure that every item that Made sells supports this belief not just in theory but in action, by caring for the artisans who make their products. The People Matter More tote has been sewn and screen printed by hand on natural canvas by local artisans in Kenya. The Imani Collective employs over fifty Kenyan men and women in Mtepeni Village and Mombasa. Through Imani, 59 women are sustainable employed, encouraged and equipped to dream and 140 kids have access to education. The hope of this bag is not only to support these artisans but to open up a dialogue between you and your community about the importance of fair trade and sustainable fashion.
