The Prettiest Restaurants in Clarendon, VA

As someone who is deeply inspired by beautiful food and interior design, one of my favorite things about living in Northern Virginia is access to so many restaurants! Housing some of the most ingenious chefs in the country, there is no end to the creativity and variety of food to enjoy. The interiors too, are equally inspiring. Read on to discover what we feel are three of the prettiest (and tastiest!) restaurants in Clarendon.

1.) AMBAR

I don’t think anyone would disagree with me when I say that Ambar has to be the prettiest restaurant in Clarendon, VA. Designed by Nya Gill, wife of Ambar owner Ivan Iricanin, this 3,600 sq. ft. interior is simply dreamy. Large windows, concrete floors, plants draped from the ceiling, a sea-glass colored bar… you really have to experience it for yourself. The detail that went into everything between the interior design and the Balkan-Peninsula style menu is perfection.

2.) BAR IVY

Walking into Bar Ivy, you immediately feel as if you’ve stepped into L.A… the indoor-outdoor vibe, white plastered whiles, cool light fixtures and furnishings… its a vibe. A West Coast inspired menu features the most savory dishes with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. The servers are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a must!

3.) GREEN PIG BISTRO

A departure from the sort of “light”, Mediterranean-style vibe of the other two, the menu at Green Pig Bistro has “premium - classic French cooking - with a decidedly American push”. A great place to gather together with friends, the interior has a cozy, rustic meets urban vibe.
