Our Single Visit 2-HR Consultation

Making Room for Peace is a Virginia-based design studio serving clients all across the state, in Maryland, Washington DC and beyond. Working on both residential and commercial projects, it is our mission to come alongside our clients no matter what season they are in, helping them to shed what is no longer serving them in order to make room for peace. Our calming presence and trained eye, allow us to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional, and that reflect our client’s style.

We offer a variety of services to best serve our client’s varying budgets and needs; they include: single visit 2-HR consultation, full service interior decorating, and full service interior design.

Two hours of on the spot design advice and expert styling tips, our Consultation is perfect for the client who needs direction but isn’t yet ready to commit to full service decorating or design. Created for the those on tighter budgets, Anna Beth will come to your home for a maximum of two hours where she will answer your most pressing design questions and provide advice which you can then implement on your own!

This service is fast-paced and client driven so we ask that you come prepared with your questions, inspiration images, a pen and note pad!  During this time we can help source the perfect sofa and pillows, select paint colors, discuss furniture arrangement, provide bathroom and kitchen reno advice, etc. We are here to answer your questions and to serve you.

DISCOVERY CALL – Before we schedule a Consultation, we like to have a 5-15 minute “discovery call” with our clients to learn a little bit more about them and their project.  Following our call, we will go ahead and email you our client questionnaire.

SINGLE VISIT 2-HOUR CONSULTATION – During this two-hour meeting at your home (or commercial space) you will receive our professional design advice and expert styling tips.  You will have the opportunity to ask any and all of the design questions that you have been struggling with and we’ll openly share our knowledge with you on how to create the space of your dreams!

Every Single Visit 2-Hour Consultation is different however one thing that you are sure to get is expert design advice. We are here to answer any and all of your most pressing design questions. Often times, we will leave the client with a list of notes/suggestions along with visuals for each room that we discuss. We also provide our clients with a 2 page sheet of “tips” on various design topics (i.e. wall art, furniture placement, sourcing). This Consultation is worth the investment!
