Peaceful Practices | Journal Prompts

Journaling. It’s a practice that many of us have done at one point or another, whether it was in school or at home on our own. Its a practice that we know is good for us just like we know its good for us to eat lots of vegetables, exercise and rest; but its also something that many of us aren’t too great at doing…

Growing up I was an avid journaler. I would write about everything from what had gone on that day, things that were frustrating me to things that were bringing me joy. It was a healthy practice because it allowed me to get all of those thoughts and emotions out of myself (my head, my heart, my body) and onto paper, so that I wasn’t storing them up inside. Its a practice though that I’ve since then let go of, for multiple reasons. One of which is that when I sit down, I often don’t know what to write.

We figured that y’all might be in the same boat, so we’ve done some research and complied a list of journal prompts below. There is something so therapeutic about taking a few minutes to be still and to process in this way. Here’s to the intention of getting back into the peaceful practice of journaling!
