Abundant Life Partners Reveal | Office 03

When Abundant Life Partners reached out to us a few weeks ago about designing a new office I laughed and was like, “Meghan we just designed an office for you?!” We were joking of course as we were thrilled not only with the opportunity of working together again but also just to witness the success of a client’s business that is bringing peace to so many people’s lives. Abundant Life Partners now has three office locations: one on Jamestown road, another in downtown Williamsburg and the third at McLaws circle.

In keeping with the design of the offices that we have designed for ALP in the past, we wanted this one to feel similar: California coastal, fresh and warm. We started work on this project in early October and wrapped up about one month later! The scope of the project included a waiting room and three offices. Today, we are walking you through Office 03!

BEFORE

Tucked off in the far corner of Abundant Life Partner’s office, Office 03 is a cozy space that receives some beautiful afternoon light. A little snug, it was a bit of a challenge figuring out furniture placement!

AFTER

Office 03 is definetly our smallest office by far and yet we were able to get creative with the design. After playing around with the design plan, we were able to fit a good amount of seating in here (a love seat, two chairs, coffee table, and a desk) making it a very functional room.

Knowing that this room would used primarily by children we wanted to make sure that the seating would hold up! We did this by selecting pieces in darker tones (blues and grays). The wooden accent tables, woven area rugs and faux plants helped to add some warmth to the space.

Since the bones of the room are fairly plain and neutral, we wanted to added some interest through the artwork! We did this by hanging a large wall tapestry above the loveseat; and then creating a sort of collage on the wall near the desk.

Not only did these pieces help tie in with the coastal vibe felt throughout the rest of the office space, but it also added a sense of playfulness.
